3D Archery

3D archery is contested on a wooded course of life-size foam animal targets (deer, bear, elk, boar, small game). Archers walk the course and shoot each target from a specified stake; scoring rings match the animal's vital organs — a heart-lung hit is worth 11 or 10 points depending on the group. World Archery and IFAA hold annual world championships.
