What is Air Racing?

Air racing is the air sport of flying aircraft around a set course of pylon gates. The Red Bull Air Race World Championship (2003–2019, now revived as the Air Race World Championship) uses inflatable pylons across a slalom course, with pilots flying single-seat light aerobatic aircraft at up to 370 km/h and pulling up to 10G through the gates.
