Arena Football

Arena football is played eight-a-side on a 50 yd indoor field surrounded by padded rebound nets and narrow 30 ft goalposts. The compact space and legal rebounds off the nets keep possessions short and scoring huge — 60+ points a game is standard. The Arena Football League ran from 1987 through several revivals.
