What is Camogie?

Camogie is the women's version of hurling, played 15-a-side under the Camogie Association (founded 1904 as Cumann Camógaíochta). Players use a curved ash camán to strike a small leather sliotar into the opposing goal (3 points) or over the crossbar (1 point). The All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship is the flagship annual competition.
