Canopy Piloting

Canopy piloting (or "swooping") is a skydiving discipline in which the last few seconds of a jump — the final swoop — are the sport. Pilots build enormous speed with a diving turn under a small high-performance canopy, then plane across the ground for hundreds of metres. FAI competition events include distance, speed, accuracy and freestyle.
