What is International Draughts?

International Draughts is the 10×10 draughts variant governed by the World Draughts Federation (FMJD). Each side has 20 pieces; captures are compulsory and, when multiple captures are possible, the one taking the most pieces must be chosen. Kings ('flying kings') can move any number of squares diagonally. It is played competitively across Europe, Africa and the former Soviet states.
