What is Chuk-Guru?

Chuk-guru (also known as kang-shanaba) is a traditional Meitei game from Manipur played primarily during festivals. Two seven-player teams alternate turns trying to dislodge seven wooden discs (kang) arranged on a raised bamboo pole by rolling a heavier target disc from a set distance. Skill lies in judging spin and angle.
