What is Diplomacy?
Diplomacy is a diceless strategy game designed by Allan B. Calhamer in 1959, set in 1901 Europe. Seven players control the great powers; each turn everyone writes down their orders in secret, then they are revealed and resolved simultaneously. There is no random element — the game is entirely about the negotiations, alliances and betrayals between turns. Adored by presidents, generals and heartbroken friends since 1959.
