Dixit

Dixit is Jean-Louis Roubira's storytelling party game published in 2008 and winner of the 2010 Spiel des Jahres. Each turn the active player gives a cryptic clue — a word, phrase, sound, poem — for one of their hand of dreamlike illustrated cards. Every other player secretly plays one of their own cards matching the clue; all cards are shuffled and revealed, and everyone votes which was the storyteller's. Score points if some (but not all) players guess correctly.
