What is Drifting?
Drifting is a judged motorsport of intentional oversteer — a driver holds a car sideways through corners while maintaining vehicle control and speed. Judges score angle, line, style and speed. Modern professional drifting was popularised by Keiichi Tsuchiya in 1970s Japan; Formula Drift (USA) and D1 Grand Prix (Japan) are the top championships.
