How it works
Objective
Score most Victory Points across 3 scoring rounds by controlling most CABALLEROS in the highest-VP regions of Spain.
Rules
Basic rules
9 REGIONS of Spain + 1 KING'S COURT + 1 CASTILLO (hidden tower)
Signature 9-region + castillo map.
TURN: each player uses POWER CARD (1-13) to determine turn order + caballeros they can deploy
Signature power card auction.
ACTION CARDS: draw + play 1 of 5 action cards each round with unique effects (move king, force deployment, swap regions etc.)
Signature action-card variety.
CABALLERO DEPLOYMENT: place caballeros in regions ADJACENT to KING'S current location + KING'S COURT (never king's region itself)
Signature king-adjacency rule.
CASTILLO — secret dice tower: place caballeros to castillo; at scoring rounds, players SIMULTANEOUSLY REVEAL a region choice — castillo caballeros then move there
Signature castillo hidden-reveal.
3 SCORING ROUNDS (after rounds 3, 6, 9) — each region scores 1st/2nd/3rd majority = points from region + castillo bonus
Signature 3-scoring rhythm.
SCORING: each region has printed VP values for 1st/2nd/3rd place
Standard majority scoring.
Scoring
Regional majorities score printed VPs (1st/2nd/3rd) at each of 3 scoring rounds; castillo secret bonus.
Win condition · Most total VPs after final scoring round wins.
