What is Floor Hockey?
Floor hockey is the family of indoor hockey games played in North American schools and rec leagues, invented by Canadian PE teacher Sam Jacks in 1936. Six-a-side teams use plastic sticks (no blades) and a felt puck or plastic ring. Special Olympics floor hockey uses similar rules with a plastic disc puck.
