What is Indoor Skydiving?

Indoor skydiving (or bodyflight) is a judged aerial sport contested inside a vertical wind tunnel that lifts the flyer against a 190+ km/h updraft. Disciplines include freestyle (solo choreographed routine), dynamic (2-way through prescribed shapes) and formation flying (4-way and 8-way). The FAI holds the biennial Indoor Skydiving World Championships.
