What is Memoir '44?
Memoir '44 is Richard Borg's card-driven Second World War tactical game, published by Days of Wonder in 2004. Two players fight historical WWII battles on a hex-tiled board, using command cards to activate units on the left, right or centre. It uses the same 'Command & Colors' system as Battle Cry (US Civil War) and Battle Lore. Over 25 official expansions cover most of the European and Pacific theatres.
