Mouse Trap

Mouse Trap is a family board game published in 1963, famous less for its race-game mechanics than for the Rube Goldberg-style plastic contraption players cooperatively build during play. When triggered — by rolling a 'Turn Crank' — the contraption sends a marble down chutes, whacks a lever, catapults a diver into a tub and drops a cage over a mouse. Novelty and nostalgia have kept it in print for more than 60 years.
