Power Grid

Power Grid is Friedemann Friese's economic strategy game about electrical utility companies. Two to six players auction power plants, buy fuel (coal, oil, uranium, garbage), connect cities on a shared network, and race to power the most cities in the final round. The clever inflation/scarcity system in the fuel market makes every decision feel weighty. A staple of the mid-weight hobby-game canon.
