What is Puzzle Hunts?

Puzzle Hunts are team puzzle-solving events in which participants tackle chains of interconnected puzzles — cryptic clues, logic grids, wordplay, physical challenges, ciphers — where each solution unlocks the next, culminating in a 'meta-puzzle' that ties everything together. MIT's Mystery Hunt (since 1980) and Microsoft's Puzzle Hunt (since 1999) are the two flagship events, but the format has spread worldwide via Puzzled Pint, Puzzled Piggies and dozens of city hunts.
