Rackets

Rackets is an English racket sport that grew from the courtyards of 18th-century London debtors' prisons and was codified at Harrow School. Played on a large four-walled court with a strung wooden-frame racket and a small hard ball, it is the fast, hard-hitting ancestor of squash. The sport survives at a handful of British and American schools and gentlemen's clubs.
