What is Shuai Jiao?
Shuai jiao is the traditional wrestling of China, with a documented military form since the Qin dynasty. Modern sport shuai jiao uses a thick canvas jacket similar to a judogi. Wrestlers score with throws, sweeps and pins; unlike judo, most joint locks and pinning ground work are absent, keeping the pace upright and explosive.
