What is Snowboard Cross?
Snowboard cross (or boardercross) races four to six riders side-by-side down a natural-feeling course of jumps, banks, rollers and berms. The top two per heat progress to the next round. Contact happens; passes happen everywhere. It has been an Olympic sport since Turin 2006.
