What is Stand-Up Paddleboarding?

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a hybrid of surfing and canoeing. A rider stands on a large buoyant board and propels themselves with a long single-blade paddle across flat water, up rivers or into surf. Racing disciplines include sprint, technical and long-distance across the ICF and ISA world championships.
