What is Synchronized Diving?

Synchronized diving is an Olympic diving discipline in which two divers execute identical dives simultaneously off the 3 m springboard or 10 m platform. Judges award marks for individual execution and for the synchronisation of take-off, rotation, entry and splash. Contested at the Olympics since Sydney 2000, China has dominated the medal table in every Games since.
