The Elder Scrolls

The Elder Scrolls is Bethesda's flagship open-world Western RPG series, launched in 1994. Each main title lets the player make a character and explore a province of the continent Tamriel with unusual first-person freedom. Skyrim (2011) is the series' cultural juggernaut, selling over 60 million copies and being re-released for every conceivable platform including the Amazon Echo (yes, really).
