What is Toe Wrestling?
Toe wrestling is an English curiosity sport invented in 1976 in Derbyshire. Two competitors sit facing each other on the floor with feet bare, interlock big toes across a low wooden "toedium", and try to pin the opponent's foot flat on either side. The annual World Toe Wrestling Championship has run since 1976 and its founders reportedly petitioned for Olympic status.
