What is Vigoro?
Vigoro is an Australian women's team sport combining elements of cricket, baseball and tennis. Twelve-a-side teams use a paddle-shaped bat and a slightly harder ball, with two batters at each of two wickets. Two bowlers alternate overs from opposite ends. It flourished in Sydney from the 1920s and still runs an active state competition.
