Werewolf
Mafia in a village — hidden werewolves eat one villager per night while villagers argue and lynch a suspect by day.
What is Werewolf?
Werewolf is a re-theming of Mafia by Andrew Plotkin in 1997, later commercialised as Les Loups-garous de Thiercelieux (2001, France) and Ultimate Werewolf (2008, USA). A moderator narrates a village terrorised by hidden werewolves. Special-role cards (Seer, Doctor, Hunter, Witch) add strategic depth. Faster spin-off One Night Ultimate Werewolf (2014) compresses a full game into ten minutes of accusations.
