What is Winter Triathlon?
Winter triathlon is an ITU-sanctioned multisport race combining running on snow, mountain biking on packed snow trails and cross-country skiing (in classic technique). Standard distances are 5–10 km run, 10–15 km bike and 7–12 km ski. The World Championships are contested every year in an alpine country.
