What is World Rally Championship?

The WRC pits factory teams (Toyota, Hyundai, M-Sport Ford) in modified production cars over gravel, tarmac, snow and mud stages across the globe. Each event runs 15–20 timed special stages; the driver–co-driver crew with the lowest cumulative time wins. Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier hold most modern records.
