What is YINSH?

YINSH is the fifth game in Kris Burm's award-winning GIPF Project of connected abstract strategy games. Two players place and move rings on a hexagonal grid, dropping markers as they slide. Enclose five markers in a line to remove a ring — collect three rings to win. Its constantly-shifting board state and elegant marker-flipping mechanic have made it a favourite of the abstract-strategy community.
