What is ZÈRTZ?
ZÈRTZ is a two-player abstract strategy game from Kris Burm's GIPF Project. Marbles of three colours sit on a shrinking hexagonal board. On each turn a player either places a marble (then removes a ring from the board's edge) or performs a compulsory capturing jump. The catch: captured marbles go to your OWN pool. First to collect a target set of marbles wins — meaning you often want the opponent to be forced into giving them to you.
