MAGIC: THE GATHERING ARENA (MTGA) is WIZARDS OF THE COAST's (Hasbro subsidiary) OFFICIAL DIGITAL VERSION OF MAGIC: THE GATHERING TRADING CARD GAME. FULL LAUNCH SEPTEMBER 26, 2019 on PC (Windows) after 2+ years of BETA (started closed beta November 2017); MOBILE (iOS + Android) launched March 24, 2022; STEAM version launched May 23, 2023. PRO SCENE: MTG Arena is the QUALIFICATION PATH to MTG PRO TOUR (via Arena Championship qualifications). MTGA MYTHIC INVITATIONAL + ARENA CHAMPIONSHIP annual ($200k+ prize pools) + monthly QUALIFIER WEEKENDS.
